Guest article writing & pitching

Share your expertise. Not another link pitch.

If you have something genuinely useful to teach, we can help turn it into a guest article an editor would want to read. We develop the angle, interview your expert, check the evidence and prepare a contribution for a relevant publication—not a thin article built around an anchor text.

Who it's for: Founders, agencies and professional businesses seeking useful editorial contributions or clearly disclosed sponsored features.

Clear scope · No ranking guarantees · Remote US & Canada support

Sound familiar?

  • Generic article drafts don't sound like your business or add expertise.
  • You don't have time to turn an idea into a publication-ready piece.
  • A publisher asks for payment and you need a clear disclosure approach.

How we help you

Original angle

Start with the reader's problem and the publication's coverage. Suggest a practical framework, example or informed perspective rather than rewriting pages already on the internet.

Expert-led writing

Interview your subject-matter expert and build the article around accurate explanations. Confirm permissions for examples and credit sources. No invented first-hand experience or fabricated endorsements.

Editorial preparation

Adapt to word limits, house style and evidence requirements. Prepare a truthful author bio and relevant references; editors may revise or remove links without invalidating the contribution.

Optional pitching

Scope publication research and outreach separately when required. We cannot guarantee acceptance. Sponsored features need a clear label and sponsored or nofollow links, with publishing fees agreed before commitment.

Practical planning example

An article idea with a real reader benefit

Illustrative brief: a founder explaining how to create a UGC brief could provide a practical template, permitted examples and a clear approval workflow. Product references should support the explanation, not replace it.

  • State the question the article answers
  • Include an actionable resource or original perspective
  • Verify claims and avoid exaggerated performance promises
  • Disclose commercial relationships and respect editorial decisions

Our working standards

Earned, not purchased rankings

Outreach fees pay for research, writing and pitching. Editors decide whether to publish and how to attribute a contribution. We do not promise followed links, fixed link counts, Authority Scores or ranking improvements.

Paid placements are labelled

Any paid or sponsored placement must disclose that relationship and qualify outbound links with rel="sponsored" or rel="nofollow". Sponsorship is a visibility opportunity, not a purchase of ranking credit.

Useful contributions only

No private blog networks, bulk directory submissions, irrelevant insertions, exact-match anchor quotas or required link swaps. A contribution must answer the publication's readers and add original expertise.

Questions

Is this the same as paying for a guest post on your website?

No. This service helps develop original contributions and optionally pitch relevant publications. Contributions submitted to Media Strategy Lab are reviewed separately under our write-for-us guidelines; acceptance is never guaranteed.

Will a guest article always include a backlink?

No. An editor decides whether a reference is useful and how it is attributed. We don't require links in exchange for contributions and don't promise followed links or exact-match anchors.

Can you handle sponsored articles?

We can discuss writing and editorial preparation for a disclosed sponsorship. The publication must label the relationship and qualify links as sponsored or nofollow. It should be evaluated for audience value, not purchased ranking credit.

How much does guest article support cost?

Request a custom quote. The scope depends on interviews, evidence, writing, revisions and any outreach, and we can shape the work around the budget you share with us.

Don't see the scope you need?

Tell us about your website, market and goals. We'll discuss a custom plan before you commit.
